Drunken Bear rant on the topic of Obamacare (if someone on here tells me I got outta hand, maybe I can erase it before the shitstorm gets too deep on that page: Not a proper comment, be that known up front, but like so many things that I do form opinions about, it doesnt mean a damned thing to me personally. Wont be found in a hospital unless I wake up there (or dont). For all their marvelous freakin advancements, medical academia hasnt added anything to its repertoire in my lifetime that I would willfuly seek. Life ends when your carcass cant carry itself. A bonesetter, on occassion of accident; an antibiotic (pill or herb); a vein sewn up. Beyond these, I have to ask myself how long I really want to live anyway. The species got by til the last century without all this modern bullshit. Me dying a few years early aint gonna have any massive effect on me or anybody else. Those would be the worst years anyway if I opted to pay for them. Damned if Ill burden the parts of life I can really live to later, maybe, extend he parts that scare me. I AINT GIVING THEM A GODDAMN DIME!
