Dublin City Schools fourth grade students in each building are participating in the Kids Voting program. The program compliments the Social Studies standards of Government and teaches a valuable lesson in citizenship and civics. These students, from Wyandot, experienced a realistic voting scenario. Each student had to make a drivers license before hand in class, and were required to show it to a poll worker at the table to vote. Their listed address on their license was checked to match and they signed their names accordingly. Students were given a voter number and a code to log in. Student poll workers took the voters to a computer, and after voting they received a I voted sticker.
