Due Diligence In all that we do or engage, we apply a process - TopicsExpress

Due Diligence In all that we do or engage, we apply a process and the result is what we enjoy or fail to enjoy. In an activity as small as having a bath, there are protocols to be observed, like: focusing the mind on bathing, then undressing in readiness to bathe, then ensuring the source of the water, then the coolness or warmth of the water, etc etc. In the same way, for successful living with the presence of the hand of God in our lives, we are called to certain roles along the lines of the Process For Due Diligence. Some of which are simple and yet overlooked. I.E.: (1) Communing with God early in the morning (first thing in the morning) which is not common with many. He who has not slumbered nor slept while watching over us all night, deserves our first communication, as in Mark 1:35 - And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. and also in Psalm 5:3. (2) Praying consistently as we work, drive, shop, stroll, lunch, etc., goes a long way with God. Every word of prayer we utter for ourselves and many others is heard by Him. Pray without ceasing. - 1 Thessalonians 5:17 and . . . men ought always to pray, and not to faint; - Luke 18:1. (3) Having faith in our relationship with God should be diligently pursued and groomed to the highest point with demonstrated through the physicality of our actions as spoken in James 2:26 - For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Why do we profess a God we cannot see when our actions do not back up our faith? (4) Presenting the best to God is never to be compromised. Whether in Vows, Tithes, Offerings, Worship, Praise, and all that we may take before Him. In Genesis, it was mentioned several times that God saw what he created as good after creating them. He ensured they were perfect for us an all things living. A good example is in Hebrews 11:4 - By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. (5) Remaining ever patient is highly essential in the path of diligence to a fulfilled life. Running along, before God, has never produced good results because we do not know the way He has planned. But being patiently submissive to be led by Him will produce the desired results, like in Abrahams case as He sought Gods face for Isaac. Also, in Hebrews 6:10-12. (6) Stooping in total obedience is highly critical in our diligence to excel in living. The journey to destination is always longer when disobedience is exploited. The Israelites spent 40 years instead of just forty days! Obedience brings us into Gods rest in the same way he rested after creation; all things will be perfect and always in place for us, so that we will toil not. Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. - 1 Samuel 15:22. (7) Studying the word of God with zeal and commitment to gain His wisdom and knowledge for finding our pathways through life is a most diligent thing to do. This governs our knowledge to commune, to pray, to have faith, to be patient and to obey. And it is spoken in Joshua 1:8 - This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. These are some of the key due diligence processes we must align our lives with, for successful living under the favour of God. By His grace, we shall abide, in Jesus name. Amen.
