Due to a lorry hitting the bridge, the A5006 Stoke Road in Shelton remains closed both ways between the Station Road junction and the A500 D-Road junction. Emergency structural repairs are being carried out by Network Rail and a signed diversion is in operation. The city council understands the road will remain closed over the weekend and will reopen to traffic on Monday, October 28. A 20mph speed limit has been imposed for trains travelling over the bridge while the work is carried out. Please allow extra time for your journeys........thanks to Laura JL Bray for the info
