Due to a recent interview broadcast on a local Dallas radio station, we do feel the need to clarify and clear up the following information: The amazing song that is being viewed around the world was indeed a collaborative effort between 3RG (Three Random Guys) in the video: Jesse Rya, Howard Mullins, and Ron Lashley. In some media outlets and broadcasts, it has been labeled as if the song solely belonged to Jesse prior to the videotaping of the video. This information is incorrect. All three artists involved know and agree that the song began as a freestyle jam that originated with Jesse playing the guitar and singing a freestyle first verse. Howard Mullins, a contemporary gospel vocalist, then chimed in with the melody on the pre-chorus and on the main chorus. Ron Lashley, a rap artist that is originally from New Orleans, then contributed with his contribution to the rap verse shown in the video. Howard Mullins is a vocalist and Ron Lashley is a rap artist. Some media outlets are labeling both of these gentleman as rappers, that freestyled on a song that was originally Jesses song. This information is inaccurate and incorrect. We only want to clarify this information so that information that goes out to the media is conveyed accurately. The song has never been recorded by any of the gentlemen involved, and has only recently been recorded with all 3 of us involved in a collaborative effort. However, with the huge following the group and the video has created, we are currently in the studio recording the amazing song to bring to the REAL fans of REAL music throughout the world.
