Due to demand, the Clinton County Department of Waste is coordinating a final unwanted/unused medication collection event for 2014 with the Sparrow Clinton Hospital Pharmacy and St Johns Police Department. This collection is set for Friday December 5th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and will be held at the Sparrow Clinton Hospital Pharmacy located at 901 S. Oakland Street in St Johns. Residents are encouraged to bring all of their unwanted/unused pills, tablets and liquids to this collection event for proper disposal through incineration. Please do NOT bring patches, aerosols, inhalers, needles or epi pens – these items can only be accepted during the annual Clean Community Events. Dates for 2015 are currently being set and will be released after the New Year.
