Due to the overwhelming response to our recent job vacancy, I have decided to compile a list of FAQs. - What does the job entail? - the job description is childrens party staff and includes, but not limited to, make kids laugh, entertainment, having fun, making teas and coffees, serving customers in our cafe area, making party bags, cutting cake, wrapping pass the parcel, twisting balloons, cleaning up, answering the phone, nippin the shop when we run out of milk, dressing up as mickey, minnie, hello kitty or olaf or other mascots, making candy floss, eating sweets, and other duties as required. - What are the hours? - the hours are mainly evenings and weekends although some midweek hours may be offered to you but basically we are really flexible and if you have a family meal for aunt mables 60th birthday and cant work this sunday coming coz you will be nursing a gin and tonic hangover... thats fine!!! basically hours to suit. - Whats the wage? - depending on your age, 16 - 18s get £5 per hour, over 18s are £5.13 and over 21s are £6.50 per hour! - Is the job permanent? yes. as long as you turn up on time, and dont mind hard work! - Can I have an interview on a different day? - short answer is no. we cant hold interviews at the weekend due to parties being held and we are very busy people. unless we do not find a single crazy... errrr i mean suitable candidate on friday, we will not be holding more interviews until further notice. - Do I need experience? - no you dont as full training and balloons will be provided! - What do i need to bring with me? - yourself , your CV (if you got one) and a sense of humor!
