Dunwoody is full of deer. Unfortunately, a baby deer was hit by a car a few weeks ago. He had a compound fractur so his bone was exposed. Although the deer had his spots when he came in, most of them are gone and now we can feel his antlers coming in! We monitored him for a few weeks, did a lot of research, and Dr. Johnson performed deer surgery on Saturday with the help of our great staff. The little guy (affectionately known as Leg-o-less) is doing very well and we are completing all of the paperwork to send him to a wildlife preserve.
