*Dural RFB 2014 Xmas Party* Recently, Dural RFB celebrated the holiday season by holding the annual Brigade Christmas Party. This is a social event for all our firefighters and their families to come together to celebrate another safe and happy year of service to the community. This year was marked by the return of jolly Saint Nick who visited via fire truck and also more importantly a low key award ceremony for our Captain. District Manager Mark Sugden attended to award Captain Kevin Ho his Long Service award and clasp for over 20 years of service in protecting his much loved community. Congratulations Captain Kev! Our firefighters were so overjoyed at this news so to show their support during this momentous occasion, they conducted the Annual Captaincy Dunking in which the serving Captain is (safely) dunked in the local pool! Shenanigans aside it was a wonderful day spent with family and firies a like and we thank our loved ones for always supporting us as we serve the community, without them we could not do what do.
