During a residents stay at Walker Family Residential Community they are asked to begin saving money towards permanent housing. The savings are based on their income and bills that they have to pay. The amount that we ask them to save includes deposits, first and last months rent, household needs and a little cushion for a rainy day. Some of our residents choose to save money in their own savings account and some ask us to keep their money in a savings account through 7hills. Collectively our residents that have saved through 7hills have saved a total of $5,867.00. We are so proud of all of them!
