During her first leave of absence, the portal guardian set herself out on a task she had already been currently involved with. There he is , she thinks, as she enters the mans world by herself. She quietly transforms into an invisible form that can overlay with the mans walls and room, so she can see and hear while she observes. Ah-ow! SHIT! , he says, as he stubs his toe into the door as he is leaving the restroom. He is another young man; late 20s, early 30s. He is getting ready to go out for the day, and is not paying attention to anything because of the euphoric daze one floats around in on ones day off. He is thinking about the new Star Wars movie because he had just seen a trailer for it at the movie he was at last night. His coffee mug says, I :3 (mustache) you not to speak to me so early in day , even though he is clean cut and shaven. The guardian anticipates his departure from the apartment complex and goes off to transform around the corner. The young man is done getting ready and is eager to get out and smoke a cigarette. He turns around and locks the door, and is down the stairs and out on the main street/area. He reaches into his pocket for his lighter, and pulls the cigarette from out behind his ear, and hunches over to light up. She comes in from around the corner; a stunning blonde wearing a sundress and sunglasses. He makes sure not to exhale directly at her as she comes closer on the sidewalk. She smiles politely at him, and he smiles politely back. He attempts to make light of his activity, but the blonde catches him and jumps on it, Its so much cooler when you do it, , she flirts. The young man freezes. Did she just?,... he thinks to himself. He immediately regroups and responds with, Oh. Yeh. Yup , is all he can muster. Did you,...would you like one?,..., he offers, as he goes for the pack in his windbreaker inside pocket. No thank you , she says, still smiling, getting ready to move on. The young man grabs at the opportunity, That song is pretty catchy though , he admits. She nods and,... Uh; Im sorry , he holds out his hand to shake hers. My name is Peter. My friends call me Rabbit . Rebecca , the portal guardian says as she shakes his hand, Rabbit? . Rabbetoll. Thats my last name , Rabbit says. The portal guardian raises her eyebrows, Cute , she finally decides. Rabbit jumps, So hey. If youre not doing anything, I was just about to go get some coffee right here at the corner if you care to join me,... , he starts.
