During its meeting Monday night the De Queen School Board accepted - TopicsExpress

During its meeting Monday night the De Queen School Board accepted the resignation of eight teachers who are among the schools most well-known, longest-serving educators. The group of resignations, due to the teachers now reaching retirement age, will be a major loss for the school, say officials. These resignations are mostly because the teachers have reached the required years for retirement, said Superintendent Bruce Hill. These are some of your longest-serving teachers so it definitely hurts to loss them. The accepted resignations include Marsha Lofton, Judy Clowers, Karen Trammell, Marybeth Harmon, Kathryn Coulter, Peggy Hill, Sandra Jackson and Brenda Dickerson. These are some very well-known names in the school system, and just about everyone who graduated from De Queen High School in the last couple of decades will remember them quickly. Wed like to ask yall to share your (hopefully positive) memories with these excellent teachers over the years! Do you remember your classes under them?
