During my 72 years plus I have never met one other person that knows of Boris Christoff or in fact would listen to him if they heard him. He had the voice of a real man! My partner Shona loves his voice! She met him because she met me! I first heard him when I was a kid and his base voice entranced me then as is still does to this day. He died a long time ago. And yes of course he was Russian. Here is a comment made by someone from another country that does feel as I do about his voice! Kievest 1 year ago Oh Addi, loved the finale! Boris Christoff was simply a majestic, glorious singer with luxurious coloration, deep dramatic insight and astonishing clarity throughout his vast vocal range.
