During my twenties, you could count on one hand the number of live concerts to which I bought tickets and attended. One of them was a raucously well-received performance in Oklahoma Citys Civic Center Music Hall. I can still remember how the audience came out of its seats when the performers sang a simple lyric reference to Oklahoma City in the song Route 66. In fond memory its founder Tim Hauser, this morning I play the music of Manhattan Transfer. Goodnight, sweet nightingale.
