During the Bastrop fires in 2011, Dr. Smith and Central Texas Cat Hospital treated dozens of cats probono as the community came together in support of people and animals. One of those cats was an unknown cat that was initially sent to the Austin Humane Society and then to CTCH and Dr. Smith for treatment of his burns. Unbeknownst to everyone, he was the beloved companion of Carol Calvary and hed become lost during the fires. You can imagine the joy in her heart when she was able to eventually be reunited with him! Today is Ralphies 15th birthday and in honor of him, Carol just donated to Dr. Smiths Strut Your Mutt page! Thank you Carol and Happy Birthday Ralphie! Check out his before and after pictures!
