During the past several months I have been the administrator for this page and petition to encourage a bear to be made for childhood cancer awareness. The main purpose of those pages was to encourage a bear to be made that would increase awareness but many families started to request bears for their child. Personally (Lynne Stiefler) I was sending out bears to these children but want to expand the program. CURE Childhood Cancer Association has been active in our hometown area for over 35 years to make a difference in the life of children affected by cancer or blood disorders. They have graciously taken us under their umbrella so that the program can grow. The note on the page explains how to request a bear for your child but email/message if you have any questions. Tax-deductible donations can be made through CURE Childhood Cancer Association and make sure that you designate that the donation is for the bear program.
