During the whole time I spent in tribal villages, I never fell sick while eating the same food as Adivasis. The moment I came to the town, I had ice cream in a fancy parlour, and that immediately upset my stomach. In the villages without electricity, I didnt suffer from the heat, because the mudhouses keep cool, and in the night, I slept outside, in a windy thousand-star hotel, whereas in my city room, power cuts in the night make you literally drown in your own sweat when the fan stops working. Without internet in the villages, I finished reading the books I had started, and was entertained in the evening by songs and dances, whereas in the town my only distraction is facebook. And they call this development.
