During this month of November, I dont care how large your home is, what brand of car you have or if you wear designer clothing- if you dont have Jesus, the assurance of eternal life with Him or the fulfillment winning souls for Him brings you dont have reason to be thankful. All other things are temporal and dont amount to a hill of beans. I would consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I would lose all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. Even during trials, I have peace all the while knowing that He has overcome the world!! Sell out to Jesus and you will know what its like not to want anything more!!
