Dyersburg, TN-For the second consecutive year, the men of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the congregation of Ross United Methodist Church joined ranks to provide families from the Dyersburg community a dream Christmas. Seven Families were provided with a full meal from Kroger, toys for all the children and clothes for the families. The families were selected through local social agencies based on need. Once church members received their names, a group of women from Ross U.M.C. started the work of shopping for items the families listed on their Christmas Wish List. At the same time, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity ordered the meals for each family. Members of the fraternity also helped serve the community meal after the Christmas Cantata on Dec. 22. Over 154 people were treated to a beautiful Christmas concert and a full meal.
