E-COLI FOUND IN SASKATCHEWAN LAKE WATER #SKFLOOD The province says testing of lake water across the province has found high levels of the e-coli bacteria. Sask Health is telling those using a provincial park this weekend to not drink or bathe in the water and if all avoid flood waters at all until the problem is rectified. The ministry says Katepwa, Last Mountain, Echo and Pasqua were all found to have elevated levels of the bacteria when tested in early July just days after the mammoth rainfall that drenched eastern Saskatchewan. Testing of other lakes including Round Lake and Crooked Lake are underway, but its expected the same results will be found.
