E-brake wont apply pressure following rear overhaul/rotors/pads. - TopicsExpress

E-brake wont apply pressure following rear overhaul/rotors/pads. Cable was fine prior to work. Handle pulls the distance. I could hand-actuate the levers on the bench & observe pistons extend slightly which made me feel they were okay after reassembling. Calipers were rotated outward with cube tool just enough for a slot on piston to seat the peg on back of pad, before install. Did I not rotate pistons counter-clockwise far enough (extending piston further), before bolting them down perhaps? I read a lot of related chatter on the web but most found broken cables or seized calipers. Neither the case, here. Note that I do not yet have lines attached/system pressurized. Purging ABS unit with Hi-Scan first so I dont trap any particles or remaining old fluid into calipers... Thanks for any good advice. Taking them loose tomorrow to experiment.
