E5 hatched today on the Southwest Florida Eagle cam :) FYI this is an active pair of bald eagles nesting in the Ft Myers, FL area. There is a private group that, with permission, has cameras set up near the nest. There is a 2nd egg which will be E6 expected to hatch in the next day or so. I first found the page Southwest Florida Eagle Cam last year when E3 and E4 were laid, then hatched. E3 sadly passed away a few weeks later but E4 went on to fledge the nest.
