In a thrilling season, the young Eagles have entertained throughout, notching up a staggering 146 goals en route to a dominant performance in the league, and various wins against opposition from both the Premiership and Championship 1, as well as the scares given to Glentoran in both games. Loughgall, Ards, Ballyclare and Institute have all fallen in cup competition already, and City warmed up for the big final with a comfortable 3-1 win over Portstewart at Holm Park yesterday, with several key players rested allowing more youngsters a chance to shine. Led by skipper Liam Cullen, Citys exciting season culminates with tomorrows cup final, the a first ever appearance in a national final for the club. The Eagles know that Bangor will be no pushovers, however, and they only missed out on the Championship 1 title on the final day of the season. A big City crowd is expected at the May Day showpiece final.
