Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Proceed on driving south towards Amboseli. After crossing the frontier town of Namanga, on the border with Tanzania, the semidesertic landscape brings us to the Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards and the great view of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Distance Approx. 250 kms - 5 hrs drive Meal plan: {Lunch, Dinner} Day 2,3: 2014: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park Early morning game viewing drive, breakfast and drive to the Tsavo West National park. Arriving in time for Lunch. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – Serena Kilaguni lodge . Distance: Approx. 170 kms - 2 hrs drive Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner} The Tsavo is particularly famous because of the red elephants which owe their color to the dust prevalent in this area. As well as lions and cheetahs, there are many antelopes (Oryx, kudus, and Grants gazelles and giraffe gazelles), Burchells zebras, Maasai giraffe, Baboons and Vervet Monkeys. Of the birds, the most impressive is the Maasai ostrich. Where there is water, such as Mzima springs, crocodiles and hippos can be seen. Day 4: 2014: Tsavo West – Depart After breakfast at Kilaguni Lodge, check out and depart for Nairobi where your trip will end.
