Those in communication and media. Wednesday, 19th November at 2.30 pm: Network meets. Ebenezer is funding a Malindi childs education and Ruth Smith is giving a talk about her work in Malindi. Everyone is welcome, including any friends. Saturday, 22nd November at Noon-2pm: Church Annual Missions Lunch. St Martin’s Methodist invite us to join them at St Martins Chapel Hall to enjoy fellowship and good food. There will also be a bring and buy stall. Please do come along. Sunday, 30th November at 4pm: The Jersey Hospice Carol Service. St Helier Methodist Centre. Refreshments will be served afterwards. All are very welcome. December dates for your diaries: Thursday, 4th December at 6.30 – 9.30pm: Youth Christmas Party. Freedom Church is hosting a Christmas Party at the Merton Hotel for youth in churches across the Island (Year 7 to age 18). Tickets are £5 to cover the cost of the event – contact [email protected]. Monday, 8th December at 12.30pm: Jersey Methodist Women’s Christmas Lunch. Bring your husband or a friend to The Mayfair Hotel. Speaker is John Shield. Price is £10.50 payable at the door. Please give your names to Joyce Haines (Tel: 861549) by 4th December. Sunday 14th December at 4pm: Carols by Candlelight Family Service. Families to meet at 3.15 pm for a craft activity to take into Church. Friday 19th December at 10.30am: Tots at the Crib Service. For young children to take part in preparing the Nativity. Support from the congregation welcome. Refreshments in our Hall after this short service. Christmas Day at 10 am: Combined Family Service at St Martins Methodist Church. Ebola Emergency Appeal: If you would like to give a donation to help those countries, communities, families suffering from Ebola, we will leave our yellow collection boxes out for the next few Sundays in both front and back vestibules.
