EBOLA(Just my thoughts): I, like most others in America, (and more - TopicsExpress

EBOLA(Just my thoughts): I, like most others in America, (and more specifically, Atlanta) have been watching this Ebola story quite closely. It is my understanding that the two Americans who contracted the virus, and have now been brought back to the US for treatment at Emory, were themselves in Africa voluntarily for the purpose of fighting the virus THERE. Now, maybe its just me, and I might be over analyzing; but, doesnt it seem like a higher risk than worthy reward, in an attempt to save two people, to possibly expose 300+ million to a virus, the origin and details of which the worlds greatest doctors have yet to master? I dont want to sound insensitive, because I first applaud their nobel mission, and feel for them and their families. But, the efforts to fight Ebola are taking place most agressively exactly where these two individuals contracted it! Doesnt that serve as a bit of a warning to those who are trying to calm us into believing we are not at risk by this move of the two Americans, that they just may not know what the heck theyre talking about. The fact is this: If they knew that much about controlling this virus, then why havent they done so over in Africa already? Of course that opens a whole other can of worms to conspiracies... But, this has just been something deeply on my heart, on which I need some logical people to give me feedback! What say you?
