EBOLA WILL KILL BARBADOS ... unless! To those who are engaged - TopicsExpress

EBOLA WILL KILL BARBADOS ... unless! To those who are engaged in medical administration here in Barbados - here is a suggestion from a teenager (myself) who obviously doesnt have the wealth of experience as you do, but I can apply logic. The facility which was designated and equip opposite the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is definitely not suitable. 1) The facility should be the St. Lucy District Hospital for the patients, away from the hustling and bustling of the city. Moreover, regular patients of the St Lucy District Hospital should relocated to the Maurice Byer Polyclinic and the St. Joseph Hospital (which is also in St. Peter). However, the option of the St. Joseph Hospital could also be explored. 2) The carers (doctors, nurses) should be confined to a makeshift housing facility at North Point, St. Lucy. Although this is where the prisoner where kept this building would be in the vicinity of the St. Lucy District Hospital and would prevent them from spreading the disease to relatives and other civilians. And, obviously they wont sleep in the cells. 3) The Royal Barbados Police Force and the Barbados Defense Force should implement a no-entry zone 200 feet away from the perimeter of the facility. With the facility chosen outside this cannot be done. The facility designated has a school neighboring and it is not suitable in the city for such an infectious and deadly disease. These are just a few of my many suggestions. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesnt this make somewhat more sense? Stephanie Chase, Kelvin Harewood, Veroniva Boyce, Randy Woodroffe, Pauline Hall, Smaxine Greaves-Smi?
