ECC MEETING TONIGHT TO ADDRESS FEINER TAX HIKE, FRANKS, SIDEWALKS, MIDWAY TAX CERT, AND MASSAGE PARLORS The November monthly meeting of the Edgemont Community Council will be held tonight at 8 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge of the Edgemont Junior/Senior HIgh School. Tonights agenda includes discussion of Town Supervisor Paul Feiners proposed tax hike for 2015 of 2.58%, the sudden drawdown of 40% of Town reserves for judgments to replenish town fund balance to pay for it, the postponement of the auction to sell Franks Nursery because of unquantifiable environmental risks, Mr. Feiners sudden turnaround on sidewalks for Seely Place and Fort Hill Road and whether that will mean anything, the huge tax cert filed by Midway, and the Towns support for new legislation to restrict massage parlors. All are welcome.
