ECONOMIC FREEDOM FIGHTERS INTRODUCE NEW SPOKESPERSON AND HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS: MBUYISENI NDLOZI. 15 July 2013 Economic Freedom Fighters, a radical, Left, anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist economic emancipation Movement with an internationalist outlook anchored by popular grassroots formations and struggles introduce to all South Africans, Africans and the world the Spokesperson and Head of Communications. Since the clarion call to all Economic Freedom Fighters to stand up and be counted on the 11th of June 2013, thousands of thousands of progressive Economic Freedom Fighters, Non-governmental organisations, youth, workers, traditional leaders, Activists, Movements, Non-Profit organisations, political parties, churches, Intellectuals, Academics, Students, Traditional Chiefs, Headmen and Kings, Independent Councillors, Internationalists, and many others have responded to the clarion call and gave definite answers on WHAT IS TO BE DONE? Economic Freedom Fighters have also received massive media inquiries from all over South Africa, Africa and the world, most of which have been about the immediate plans and future of EFF. The Central Command Team meeting which happened on the 10th of July 2013 appointed Fighter MBUYISENI NDLOZI as National Spokesperson and Head of Communications. Fighter MBUYISENI NDLOZI is currently a PhD candidate in the Politics Department at Wits University with a Fellowship with the Society, Work and Development Institute and a Sessional Lecturer in Politics. He is an Economic Freedom Fighter, revolutionary intellectual and an eloquent Internationalist whose dedication and commitment to the struggle for economic freedom is profound. Fighter MBUYISENI NDLOZI brings with him vast experience as an Activist, Organiser and Agitator against all forms of political, economic and imperialist oppression. His previous involvement includes, but not limited to the following responsibilities: • Was a student and youth activist at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and led the Students’ Representative Council as Head of Policy, Constitution and Legal Affairs in the 2006/7 period. • Chairperson of the Wits University Post Graduate Association in 2011/12. • Member of the Workers Solidarity Committee which brings together students, lectures and outsourced workers to fight the question of outsourcing • Worked at the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign for the international isolation of Israel - Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS SA) as a National Campaigner and board member. • Participated in the NObama campaign that brought civil society organisations together as National Coordinator and Spokesperson. • Participated in the Israeli Apartheid Week as a National Spokesperson and Coordinator, an annual campaign that takes place in more than 14 Universities in SA, and several communities. Economic Freedom Fighters convey sincere gratitude to Fighter Floyd Shivambu, who since the clarion call on the 11th of June 2013 handled Communications and Media Liaison work, and kept all Fighters informed on the developments. Fighter Floyd Shivambu will from now dedicate his focus and energy as the Commissar for Policy Development and Research. As a Commissar for Policy Development and Research, he co-ordinates all work that will culminate in the Founding Manifesto and Policy Positions of Economic Freedom Fighters.
