EDITORIAL The recent Tribune article about the CCL instructors who scammed the system by offering a shortcut class was truly sad - not so much for the bad instructors (criminal charges for fraud would be appropriate), but for any of the students who innocently enrolled and now have to take the class again before they can exercise their fundamental rights. Weve heard so many horror stories about the same thing happening in our area. We hope the bad instructors get caught, punished and stopped from defrauding the public. For their students who were the victims or even knowing shortcut participants here are two brutal questions: 1) how will you handle a real life situation if you are forced to use your firearm in a defense situation? and, 2) after the incident, when you testify about your training, under oath, what will a jury think about your shortcut? YOU WILL PERFORM AS YOU TRAIN!
