EEOC has declared extensive checks into the criminal history of a potential employee as a form of discrimination due to the high frequency of felony crimes are committed by minorities, primarily African-American, and Hispanic. EEOC is now putting forth lawsuits against employers who turn away applicants for their violent pasts, calling foul, that is unfair to the applicant and is a form of discrimination.
