ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO M.Ed., ONE YEAR COURSE IN AFFILIATED COLLEGES Eligibility : Master of Education (M.Ed.) one year course : B.Ed. or B.A. B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. of this University or an examination recognized as equivalent to B.Ed. with not less than 55% marks in aggregate. Relaxation in eligibility condition: 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility condition will be given to SC/ST of Haryana State and Persons with disabilities of all India. candidates. Note: There shall be no rounding off of percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 54.5% and above will not be rounded off to 55%. SECTION-II IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES 1. Last date for receipt of Application Form for admission to M.Ed. in Office of Chairperson, Department of Education, 1st Floor, Tagore Bhawan, CDLU, Sirsa is 22.10.2014by5.00 p.m. 2. Date of Common Entrance Test : 08.11.2014 at 2.30 p.m. to 3: 30 p.m. Test Centre : Tagore Bhawan, CDLU, Sirsa 3. Before filling theAdmission Form the candidates are required to read the Prospectus carefully. 4. The candidates are required to paste latest coloured passport size photographs on the Application Form andAdmit Cards. 5. No original or photocopy of any certificate or testimonial is required to be submitted alongwith the Application Form except Admit Card in duplicate. But the SC and Differently Abled candidates are required to attach photocopy of their Caste Certificate/Medical Certificate with Application Form for claiming relaxation in eligibility condition. 6. No column should be left blank in Admission Form; write N.A. against the column which is not applicable otherwise it will be considered as incomplete and rejected. 7. Candidates having compartment in the qualifying examination shall not be allowed admission even provisionally. 8. Candidates will be allowed to participate in counselling only if his/her result of qualifying examination is declared by the concerned University upto the time of counselling. 9. If the last date of receipt of Application Form and last date for depositing the dues falls on a holiday or that day is declared holiday by the University, the next working day will be considered the last day for the purpose. 10. No inter-college migration or transfer will be allowed. 11. The admission to M. Ed. Course will be made strictly on the basis of merit of Entrance Test only and no other weightage will be given. In case two or more candidates in the merit list have equal marks, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration. In case there is still a tie, the candidate senior in age will be considered first. 12. At the time of admission, every candidate shall be required to give an undertaking of good conduct & behaviour and not to indulge in ragging. If a candidate after his/her admission is found indulging in any kind of ragging, his/her admission is liable to be cancelled and the fee deposited will be forfeited.
