EMAIL FROM MEMBER RE: CHILD URINATING IN STRANGE PLACES DURING THE NIGHT: Hi guys, after advice. My little girl is nearly 4 and Ive just heard her get out of bed then the sound of fluid hitting the floor. I got upstairs to find her sitting on her hamsters cage, when I asked what she was doing she didnt seem to know where she was or why she was there, I asked if she needed a wee to which I got a yes so took her the loo (no wee), asked if shed weed in the cage and she said yes, put her back in bed and she went straight to sleep. She had tried to nod off while on my shoulder on the loo, has had wet accidents in bed but never on the floor, at least not at night anyway, she is dry if I take her the loo and doesnt usually wake if she needs it or wets the bed. Its left me feeling really really puzzled, confused and also a bit concerned. Anybody else had experience of a toddler weeing in a strange place at night? Theres no medical history of incontinence or irritable bladder problems. No criticism or arguments please Im only looking for advice!
