EMPOWERING THE YOUTH`S WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF ACT`S & CULTURE THE MISSION OF THIS PROJECT: Is to attract and provide funding for the sustainable development and growth of the arts, culture and heritage in The Gambia, actualized through mutually beneficial partnerships between the corporate, public and cultural sectors, focused on making a positive difference to the lives of all Gambians THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROJECT: 1. The development and promotion of arts, culture and heritage; 2. The advancement of artists, cultural and heritage practitioners; 3. The promotion of education in arts, culture and heritage; 4. The construction of facilities and the creation and development of a sound infrastructure to support all of the above The Premise, Promise and Pledge Our premise is that we conviction that arts and culture and heritage are not hobbies or ‘entertainment.’ They are an outward expression of that which stirs in man’s soul to reveal itself as commercial products that are testament to the present and how it is inextricably linked to the past and future. This project will be committed to the development, promotion and development of arts, culture and heritage sector as the cornerstone of job creation, skills development and economic self-determination. The empowerment of the creative class is the meaning of purpose.
