Originally of German descent, Nathan has established himself as a reputable brand in the South African music industry. His love and passion for music was recognized at an early age. Mixing music and production became The Mayor’s past-time, as his interest in music grew over the years. Nathan found his love for House Music when he began fusing and mixing various music styles. His inspiration came from listening to the music icons such as Alex Kidd, Christos, Dennis Ferrer, Vinny Da Vinci, Fresh, Kent, the late Iggy Smallz, and Brett Jackson to name a few. Nathan’s authentic, innovative, and original urban style of musical composition and mixing, gave him a unique identity; setting him apart from other upcoming DJs. Nathan has performed in all nine provinces of South Africa, which includes major clubs and multiple social events. He has also traveled to countries such as Brazil, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho to showcase his talents to avid house music supporters. Nathan has since featured on national and local TV & radio stations, receiving immense support and a cult-like following.
