ENLARGEMENT PACKAGE 2014 ADOPTED Brussels (8 October) – On Wednesday morning the European Commission has adopted its annual Enlargement package that contains the Enlargement Strategy and progress reports for the countries of the Western Balkans and. The Enlargement Strategy summarises what has been achieved over the last 5 years in this area and outlines the key elements of the enlargement policy for the coming period. The progress reports for the seven candidate countries and potential candidates assess the work done by them over the last 12 months in order to advance the reforms and to continue with transformation in line with the EU criteria.
