ENOUGH OF DECEIT! When would people in position of power stop playing politics with the lives of Nigerians. Where did the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) got the data for 85 per cent employment in the first half of 2014. It is a pity that the Statistician-General of the Federation, Dr Yemi Kale is too economic with the truth. It is not good to tell lies to please those in government or falsely promote the image of the present administration in order to stay in office. It would have been more decent and commendable if Yemi Kale had kept quiet over this issue of employment. At his age and responsibility, the position of anyone in demographic department is highly respected. In his own case he has thrown integrity to the wind. Oh what manner of people we have as leaders? With his faked statement, the present administration will now capitalised on it as an achievement. See how laziness and corruption are ruining us. Data collection if properly done and manageed will help us to plan effectively and efficiently. What Yemi is telling us is that the Bureau has not being doing its work. All the figures they have been supplying are faked. We dont need people like this in sensitive positions. He should be relieved of that position. A Bureau that does not know the population of the countrys population, what accurate statistics would it give that we can rely upon?
