ENOUGH OF THE DEEP SLUMBER...WISEN UP!!!!!! If it is not clear to CRS by now, that Jonathan will NOT be returning to the presidency, I dont know what is. Perhaps it is time to stop maligning ourselves even more by unwisely pitching our tent in a ship we know is heading nowhere other than to the bottom of the ocean. We pitched with PDP, a PDP president, and PDP governor. As did most of the nation. The tide has turned. Most others have wisened up ...even AK may not ggo PDP this election cycle. And justifiably so, because that party and president have clearly failed to deliver, but have lived on EXCUSES, FEAR MOGERING and LIES. Cross River state has nothing to show for all the years of our loyalty. We have just managed to coast through at bare subsistence. Nothing big has happened, nobody other than politicians and their friends have made any major strides. Hard as it is to hear, our resources, standard of living and other indices of prosperity are some where at the bottom of the pile. We have no notable representation of any substance in the corridors of power. No muscle to flex. We have absolutely nothing that gives us any edge over others in whatever category you measure. Even the so called yearly carnival is fast becoming a shadow of its own self. Was there one last year? I did not hear a mention of it in any circles. No hoopla on the national news either as use to be. High time we stopped forcing ourselves deeper into the obscurity of regional existence, and START PLAYING SMART. Pitch with the winning team. There is no need for stupid unnecessary loyalty with no history of any benefits to us.
