EPISODE: 5 TITLE: UNFORCASTED STORM AUTHOR: Angela * shine bright like a diamond shine bright like a diamond Angela tossed on her bed.The phone kept ringing.She peered at the screen of her phone.It was Sweet mother calling.She tossed again from one side of the bed to another.She was still enjoying her sleep.It was the ringing phone that woke her up.She glanced at the clock hanging on the wall.It was 5.50am. She wondered why her mother could be calling her so early in the morning. Good morning mumShe finally spoke into the phone. Angela.Angela are you alright?Mrs uwa asked from the other end of telephone. Im alright mum.I hope there is no probleAngela asked curiously.Her mothers voice didnt sound normal. Angela.i had a dream thats why i called youMrs uwa said with a shaky voice. A dream?Angela asked yawning. Angela, i had a dream.you were travelling by a bus,sitting very comfortably on your seat and then a lady came out from nowhere and started dragging the seat with you..The seat that you paid ticket for.What baffled me was the fact that everybody in the bus kept quiet as if they didnt see what was happening.then she finally pulled you out of the fast moving bus and you fell down on the express way.Immediately ,i woke upShe narrated. Angela heaved and yawned again. • • • • • • • • • • mama,its just a dream.Its only a dream.dont worry okay? Im fineAngela said. No no no. Angela,my dreams are not just dreams.I hardly dream and when i have one,its usually a revelation because it later comes to past.Angela,you must pray hard.Pray real hard because i sense dangerMrs uwa warned. Angela was reluctant to saying anything.She remembered how her mother had told them she had a dream where her aunty,her mothers father had an accident and died.Her mother had told her aunty about it and asked her to pray.They too,prayed over it.Few months later,her aunty died. She became scared.She clasped her hand together and muttered something. Angela.You must come over so we can pray over this.Tell David about it.Im very sure he would allow you comeMrs uwa said before finally hanging up. Angela got up immediately and went up to David to tell him about it. David granted her the permission without wasting anytime. The pastor Angela and her mother visited,told Angela that she must fast for seven days (6am-3am) and at the end of the fast,she must come for prayers.Because of this,she stayed over at her parents place as instructed by her mother.The pastor didnt actually explain the dream but he said he sensed danger. :::.***.:::: Back home Sonia was having a good time with David.She was very happy that her plans were successful.She estorted enough money from him but her greatest fear lay on what Angela would do when she eventually catches her with her husband. This gave her a great cause for concern.She had to call her mother to tell her about it.They went back to the witch doctor who gave Sonia another charm and told her how to use it inorder to overthrow Angela finally. She was very successful in carrying out the instructions. Soon,Angela would leave the house for me without ever coming back to trouble usshe thought smiling to herself. ::::.***::::: It was a monday morning.David prepared and left for work.Angela was preparing to go to her shop.After her usual long preparations,painting her lips,face and everything she finally left. By noon that same day,she felt somehow.Her stomach ached,head ache and high body temperature. She closed her shop and decided to go home and have some rest. On getting to the compound,she saw her husbands car parked there.She wondered what he might be doing at home.He should be in the office.She opened the door unannounced and headed to Davids room gently.On approaching,she started hearing soft moans from Davids room. She barged into the room immediately and caught her dear husband and her maid on the bed. David! WATCHOUT FOR PART 6
