ESA’s Rosetta probe reaches its target, Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko, *tonight*! Over the past couple weeks, it’s been taking better and better photos as it approached, showing that the comet’s coma has a weird rubber-duck shape. It goes into orbit around the comet starting 0845 GMT (0145 PDT). Given that the comet is only 4km across, smaller than many small towns, I expect the orbit will be quite slow — just not that much gravity to grab onto.
