ESPN has approached First Coast HS to play Hoover in the ESPN - TopicsExpress

ESPN has approached First Coast HS to play Hoover in the ESPN nationally televised high school game. This is a huge opportunity that extends well beyond the school parking lot. This will help boost the image of northeast Florida as a powerhouse in high school football, as well as a morale booster for our local community. This opportunity will also help restore something that First Coast has been lacking in the last few years; a sense of school pride. ESPN will pay all of the travel expenses for the school, so it will not have any negative financial impact to the school board, or take any money away from the school. However, there is one roadblock keeping this from happening. Ed White is scheduled to come to First Coast to play on the same day, but Ed White is refusing to let First Coast out of their agreement to play. Not playing First Coast would be a positive move for Ed White, because this would allow them to schedule an extra home game, that would generate more ticket & concession sales for their program. Please help by spreading the word but inviting your friends to like this page, as well as sharing this group. You can also contact your school board representative to encourage them to help Ed White see that they will actually benefit from cancelling the game with First Coast. It is understood that many of you have kids that attend or will attend other schools, but keep in mind that this is a positive thing for our entire area. Thank you for your help.
