ESPN has suspended outspoken sportscaster Stephen A. Smith for a week because of his comments about domestic abuse suggesting women should make sure that they dont do anything to provoke an attack. Stephen is really getting penalized for keeping it real.... He repeatedly establishes that what Ray Rice did was disgusting and warranted a more severe punishment.... He repeatedly establishes that striking a female is WRONG in every sense..... but when he goes to the other end of the coin, its a problem all of a sudden...... He closed the door that is giving ladies the notion that they are immune to any consequence of getting themselves into such situations (such as hitting men first without care). I have advised my daughters to never provoke a man to violence. Although a man should never hit you in the first place, there is no need to escalate the situation with foul language and aggressive physical gestures. ESPN suspends the man for trying to prevent a violent situation? This is crazy. Any thoughts?
