ETHIOPIA UPDATE: Today our team of 11 people went out into 2 different villages along with our translators and disciple makers. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that traffickers had not been working in this area. We were not surprised to find that the Ethiopian Orthodox Priests turned the people against us before we even got back to our hotel. Those who invited us into their homes were warned about following Jesus and told to kill their chickens. Because of this stirring, we will not be able to return to that particular village tomorrow, even though we had promised quite a few people that we would be back. All in all there were 30 people who put their faith in Christ today. Please pray for the truth to be so imbedded in their hearts that theyll endure the persecution that is coming. Our disciple maker will definitely be going to visit each of these people in 1 or 2 weeks when, hopefully, things are a little calmer. Also, my co-leader, Diane Ault, had to leave and return to the States because her father is very close to going to be with his Savior and Dianes family needs her. Please do pray for her family as God brings them to mind.
