EU CUTS FUNDING TO ZAMBIA European Union Budget Support Group will significantly reduce their funding to Zambia due to poor financial and monetary policies. The EU said Zambia has scored very lowly in financial and fiscal policy and only 35 percent making it difficult for them to continue supporting the country. The EU also announced that only one donor will be supporting Zambia to some extent. The PF government has been running a huge budget deficit due to unplanned projects. PF has also not done well in issues of human rights record as the country has experienced too much persecution of opposition leaders, journalists, and civil society activists.
