EVEN THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU Do you know that as you are serving God everyday, just as people knows you, and sees what you are doing, so also the devil knows you and sees what you are doing? If so be, how well do you know the Lord Jesus? Have you had a personal encounter with him, or do you know him based on what your pastor, church member, or any other person is doing? Acts 19:13-16 says, Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Hmmmmm, these vagabond Jews like many people today felt they know the Lord, but what they did daily was not in line with what they professed to be, and as a result, even the devil who also knows true believers took advantage of them. May God help us to discover him for ourselves and know him more, so that no demon or devil can stand on our way as we discharge our God given duties in the most powerful name of Jesus. Jesus loves you and I do too.
