EVENING BRIEFING Friday, July 25 DISCUSSION The forecast period we are about to enter is going to be extremely fluid. What is known is that a severe thunderstorm risk exists for most of the weekend, especially starting tomorrow afternoon. What is presented in this Evening Briefing is MOVWUs best effort in providing some sort of timeline of events based on the information known at the time this briefing was issued. Be prepared for severe weather on both Saturday and Sunday. We also may have to deal with a flooding risk if we get the rain that is projected to fall from Tonight through Monday. TONIGHT Variable Cloudiness. A chance of a shower South of US 33 and West of Interstate 77. Low 57-64 TOMORROW (7/26) Mostly Sunny during the day. Pop-up Showers and Thunderstorms possible, especially after 2:00 PM. Becoming Mostly Cloudy. Showers and Thunderstorms likely in the late evening and overnight. Some storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds. High 85-92 / Low 65-72 SUNDAY (7/27) Variably Cloudy with Showers and Thunderstorms likely. Severe threat is dependent on Saturday nights activity and the amount of sun we end up getting during the day. Current projections are for more Showers and Thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening. Some storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. High 78-85 / Low 60-67 MONDAY (7/28) Cloudy with Showers High 74-81 / Low 54-61 TUESDAY (7/29) Mostly Sunny, much cooler. High 68-75 / Low 48-55
