** **** EVERYONE PLEASE READ **** ** 04/19/14 The TRANS AM LOVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! group was started in 2007 as a page dedicated primarily for the love of the Firebird Trans Am and since then it has grown immensely. Everyone on here, myself included, asked to join this group because of our love and passion for the Trans Am, and other Firebirds. Pontiac may be gone but the love, the thrill and the passion remains as strong as ever for the Trans Am. That is obvious by the posts and photos you all post regarding your own Trans Ams and other Firebirds! Because of the large number of posts from this point on only Trans Am and Firebird related posts will be allowed to be posted. All other posts not related to the Firebird and Trans Am will be removed. Lately there have been so many other posts that the Trans Am posts are getting lost in the page. The number of complaints from some members regarding this issue has increased to the point where we as admin felt it is time to regain the original focus and intent of this page. We all have our other cars that we love dearly but please post your photos and comments regarding these other cars on the appropriate pages. This is inclusive of ALL other cars, not just some. You folks on here are an incredible group of people and we thank you for being a part of this Trans Am family! Please keep posting your comments, questions and photos! Just keep them focused on the Firebird Trans Am and your other Firebirds. :-)!!! Everyone, please review the group rules posted below. As this group continues to grow so do the number of posts and comments. As this is a group dedicated to the Trans Am, and other Firebirds, we ask that you please remain on topic and keep your posts focused on the Trans Am and Firebirds. Please keep your comments to one another, and about each others cars, civil. We have a huge number of people on this page from all over the world. That tends to include a lot of cultural differences as well. Because of differences in what we like, and dont like, we may not always agree on the same thing. If we did it would be pretty boring and everyone would have the same Firebird. That is one of the reasons we are all on this page is to see different Firebirds and Trans Ams and to share different ideas. If you see something you like that someone has done with their Firebird, then by all means post positive comments. If you see something youre not too crazy about then please keep your negative comments to yourself and move on to something else. ATTACKS ON OTHER MEMBERS, OR THEIR CARS, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!! We are NOT here to bash other cars or the folks who own them. Kidding is one thing but when it goes beyond that then it is time to back off. All of the Mustang and Camaro bashing has simply gotten old and that is not what this page is about. If bashing another car is your thing then please take it somewhere else. It is not going to continue here. (02/18/14) Posts and comments containing improper language will be deleted without notice to the person who posted it. Period. Continued improper posts could result in that member being removed. There simply is no excuse NOT to use clean language when posting here. This is a family oriented page so we want everyone to feel comfortable as they look through it. Please think about what you are writing before you post it. If you think it would offend a member of your family if they were to read it, then it isnt a good idea to post it. If you have nothing nice or constructive to say about a post, keep scrolling. Please use words as if you were sitting next to a child. There is no need for vulgar language. Anyone posting any spam will have their post removed and that person will be immediately removed from the group. Period. This is not the place for political comments so please refrain from posting that sort of thing. There are other pages on Facebook where you may go to do just that. Comments and photos on things like the weather, your house, your boat, your plane, your dogs, cats and kids and whatever else you may have tend to clutter the page and cause the Trans Am related posts to become lost in the shuffle. All posts and comments off topic will be removed without notice to the person having posted it. The page is monitored by the admin for appropriate content and language.
