EVERYONE PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS :) Hey GIRLS AND GUYS! Our first Fempowerment meeting is going to be held tomorrow in Mrs. Daniels room (room 1543, right before the math bridge). We have a lot to establish and discuss (plans, projects, meeting dates etc.) I hope you all can make it! We are recruiting ALL GENDERS. Feminism is often seen as women wanting to rule over men when it is really about EQUAL opportunity and treatment for all genders. We need to discourage fear of being called a feminist; both WOMEN AND MEN need to take initiative in order for this to happen. If youre not a feminist you dont believe in equal treatment for all genders. Therefore Id like to hope there is feminism in most everyone and we should help all genders be proud to express their inner feminist. We need to make sure the extremists DONT wave the thoughts of feminism for everyone, since that happens with almost every other religion or political group. To do this, we have to go beyond just lecturing and discussing with each other. Let’s RAISE awareness of feminism and discuss how together we can be ACTIVE feminist citizens. Please GIRLS AND GUYS share, comment or like to raise awareness for this club. The more members the better the chance we have at making a difference in our community.
