EXCEPT THE LORD Psalm 127:1,2; 1 Chronicles 29:1-17; Colossians 3:23-25 God uses instruments to accomplish His will always. Following the verses to help know the very purpose of our creation. In Isaiah 43:7 know that you are created for His glory. In Collosians 1:16 we are created for His pleasure. In Ephesians 2:8-10 shows that we are saved and created in Christ for it. However, we need to clearly understand that we can only live a life daily – Ephesians 4:22-24. Our compliance must be done daily. Bear in mind that Except the Lord build the house they labour in vain that build it. I. HE BUILDS HIS HOUSE A. God uses people whom He could bless and trust to do the job. The question this morning is: Can God trust us to do the job. Let’s go again to 1 Chronicles 29:1-17 and analyze it. 1. He uses chosen people for the job - vs. 1 2. He uses chosen people with prepared heart – vs. 2 3. HE uses chosen people who love Him and His house back – vs3,4 4. He uses chosen people who are willing to consecrate their Service – vs. 5 5. He uses chosen people and leaders who are willing to take part… - vs. 6-8 6. He blesses whom He uses a. With rejoicing – vs. 9,10 b. Humble stewardship – vs. 11-14,16 c. Enjoys temporal presence…- vs.15 d. Opportunity to have our heart tested – vs. 17a e. Enjoys joyful heart to serve in giving – vs. 17b
