EXCERPT OF MESSAGE BY PST. OLUMESE @W.S.D DAY 2, 7th November, 2013 Message title: WORKING WONDERS BY THE WORD PART 2 1.0. Act on the word because of the word 2.0. Treat yourself of the Paralysis of analysis disease 3.0. Do it now! 1.0. Act on the word because of the word: Matthew 14:26-29 - And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. The amplified renders verse 28 as such: And Peter answered him, Lord, if it is you, commend me to come to you on the water. Peter undderstood that although naturally, he may not be able to walk on water, but he could if he got a hold of the word! The word of God is powerful, it is powerful enough to keep you from failing. Hebrews 1:3 (AMP) shows us that God is: upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by his mighty word of power. In order for us to enjoy tremendous expansions, we must learn to act on the word because of the word. The word of God will always stretch you beyond your limits. It is only the word of God that can bring a person into the fulfillment of 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (Eyes have not seen...) but you will need to dare the impossible just as soon as you hear the word. Please note, Peter did not walk on water, he walked on the word. He knew it was important to hear Jesus give the command, that is why he never step out of the boat until Jesus gave the word, COME! 2.0. Treat yourself of the paralysis of analysis disease: Massive expansions would always need to break protocols. In other for a person to move into the prepared level a miracle is needed. You must realize that a miracle never conforms to analysis. If you must see the dimension of wonders God wants you to see, you must save yourself from the disease called the paralysis of analysis when it comes to the word of God! It may not make complete sense at the moment, but if the word says so then JUST DO IT! Luke 5:5 - And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. I like the Amplified rendition, Luke 5:5 - And Simeon (Peter) answered, Master, we toiled all night (exhaustingly) and caught nothing (in our nets) But on the ground of your word, I will lower the nets (again). Dont over analyse the word, if you do, you would loose its power. Just do what it says because it says so. GODS WORD IS FAILURE PROOF! 3.0. Do it now! Delayed obedience is equal to disobedience. Be prompt in your response to the word. Follow up what God says with prompt response of action, it shows him value on your part. Genesis 17:9-11 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. 10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. 11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. Genesis 17:23-24 23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abrahams house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him. 24 And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. Abraham was prompt, and it caused his long awaited miracle to be fast tracked. His prompt obedience trigger the visitation of the trinity (Genesis 18) and provoke the immediate release of his Isaac.
